Resume where you stopped
When you quit a game, Nostyra saves a resume point. The next time you press Play, it asks whether to continue from there or start fresh.

How it works
- A resume point is saved after about 10 seconds of play when you quit from the pause menu, close the window or press Alt+F4.
- A crash or a very short session keeps the previous resume point.
- Start fresh keeps your in-game saves and the resume point.
resume.modecan beask(default),alwaysornever;resume.auto_save = falseturns it off.
Warnings
- Nostyra warns and focuses Start fresh when the in-game save is newer than the resume point, the patch file changed or the core version changed.
Known limits
- On GameCube / Wii, a resume point made by another Dolphin version or on another disc cannot be loaded; only Start fresh is offered.
